I the quest to create a more collaborative society, and looking for ways how technology can belp, I got interested in community currencies. After some research I decided to create a community currency. Initially I used this as a practical research method, but during the development the prototype evolved into a working product.
Using a combination of Wordpress, NodeJS/Typescript/Postgres(TimescaleDB) and GatsbyJS for the frontend, there is now a fully working service for a local coplementary community currency.
